Button panel material:
Glass: Many buttons within the elevator glass control panel are made of glass, matching the overall material of the control panel. Metal: Some buttons have metal panels, commonly made of stainless steel. The metal material is sturdy and durable, with a good texture, which enhances the overall quality of the elevator. It also has good conductivity, making it convenient to connect sensing devices or microswitches.
Internal structure:
Microswitch or sensor: The back of the button is usually connected to a microswitch or sensor. When the button is pressed, the microswitch triggers the circuit, sending a signal to the elevator control system, which then performs functions such as calling floors, opening and closing the door. If it is a sensor button, the sensor connected to the back of the panel generates a signal by detecting human touch movements.
Other components: Some elevator buttons may also include light-emitting elements, transparent plastic, and reset springs. For example, the raised character elevator button has a convex hollow shape, with the hollow part filled with colored transparent plastic. A light emitter is set below, which lights up when the button is pressed, making it easier for passengers to identify the floor and providing feedback on operation. The reset spring is used to return the button to its initial position after being pressed.
